The party encounters a coven of witches in the Brackwater Wetlands, each attempting to manipulate them. Maki negotiated their release, retrieving red sap from a corrupted tree for the witches. The sap revealed the corruption’s true extent and location, prompting the party to confront it at the island’s heart.
